Conceived by Georg Foster in collaboration with ECAL, this exclusive edition transforms a vintage 1950s single-seater into a clock: wheels that wind the movement, a helmeted dome showcasing the beating balance, and a body crafted in aluminum lacquered to race livery perfection. It’s not just keeping time — it’s celebrating kinetic design, nostalgia, and craftsmanship in motion.

Movement (Calibre): In-house L’Épée 1839 1855 MHD tiered mechanical calibre; beating at 18,000 vibrations per hour; 26 jewels; 8-day power reserve; Incabloc shock protection.
Materials: Nickel- and palladium-plated brass, stainless steel; aluminum bodywork; blown glass dome; spoked stainless rims; rubber tires. Automotive paints; polished, satin, sand-blasted finishes.
Color: Blue with White Stripes — a racing-inspired livery nod, visually striking and aligned with classic motorsport aesthetics.
Dimensions & Weight: 38.5 cm long × 16 cm wide × 12 cm high; approx. 4.7 kg.
Time display: Hours and minutes shown via engraved stainless-steel disks through a side aperture styled like a competition number plate. Time is set via the steering wheel (counter-clockwise).
Case / Sculpture frame: Vintage Formula-1 single-seater inspired chassis with H-frame structure; full aluminum body panels lacquered; blown glass dome over escapement (driver’s “helmet”); steering wheel incorporated for time setting; rear wheels used to wind the movement (reverse motion like a pull-back toy).
Dial / Movement visible parts: The balance / escapement under the dome acts like the “driver” in the cockpit; side plates form part of the bodywork with cut-outs reminiscent of radiator grilles; details like exhaust, spoked rims, struts echo engineering of classic racing cars.
EXCLUSIVE LIMITED EDITION: Only 100 pieces of this “Blue with White Stripes” version produced. There are six other color-variations in the Time Fast D8 line (each also limited to 100 per color).
