The Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 42 combines IWC Schaffhausen’s renowned calendar complication with the timeless elegance of the Portugieser collection. Crafted in polished stainless steel, the refined 42.4 mm case frames a bright silver-plated dial accented by gold-plated appliqués and slender feuille hands. Three harmonious subdials display the perpetual calendar indications, including the date, day, month and leap-year cycle, all mechanically synchronized to advance automatically while accounting for the irregular lengths of months and leap years. A poetic moon-phase display adds a touch of astronomical beauty to the dial, completing the watch’s balanced aesthetic. Powering the timepiece is the IWC manufacture calibre 82650 with the efficient Pellaton winding system, enhanced by durable ceramic components and visible through the sapphire-glass case back.
